| The TC52x-HC is the healthcare variant of the compact Android touch computer TC52x from Zebra and is naturally used in hospitals, laboratories, pharmacies and doctors’ offices. Here, the SE4720 enterprise class imager with patented PRZM technology is particularly helpful. It quickly captures 1D/2D barcodes and even UDI barcodes with a clear triple feedback – even on curved or uneven surfaces, such as medication bottles. |

The 5″ full HD multi-touch display with LED backlighting and 600 nits allows for easy handling, even when wet, with gloves and a stylus pen. The Corning Gorilla Glass reliably protects everything inside. The housing of the TC52x-HC also withstands quite a lot: it is certified against dust, water, impacts and regular disinfectants, according to IP65 and MIL-STD-810G. During conception, Zebra additionally paid attention that all the screw holes are covered and the number of gaps and seams is minimal. This significantly reduces germs and bacteria from nesting.
For particularly good performance the TC52x-HC relies on its top equipment. This includes a 2.45 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 octa-core processor in combination with 4 GB RAM and 32 GB Universal Flash Storage (UFS). The exchangeable 4,150 lithium-ion hot-swap battery with PowerPrecision+ technology provides long operational readiness for up to 14 hours. Plus, the programmable emergency alarm button allows users to call for help in seconds. An integrated rear colour camera with 13 megapixels and phase detection auto-focus (PDAF) is helpful for taking detailed photos for documentation purposes. The front 5 megapixel camera is suitable for video conferences or telehealth consultations. Besides six programmable keys and comprehensive communications possibilities, the TC52x-HC features many interfaces, including Bluetooth 5.0 (Class 2) and Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), NFC, Wi-Fi 802.11ac/n/r/mc and 2×2 MU-MIMO, as well as high-speed USB 2.0. |
